The Voice Changer applies a deliberate effect rather than trying to make speech sound more natural. Pitch Shift changes pitch while keeping speaking speed the same, which is different from Chipmunk and Deep Voice, which intentionally change both pitch and speed together for a more exaggerated character effect. Robot and Echo layer processing effects on top of the original voice.
