Because video files are naturally larger than audio-only files, this tool allows uploads up to 50MB, higher than VoxCraft's other short-audio tools.

Tips for better results
- If your video is over 50MB, trimming it down first (in a video editor) or reducing its resolution/bitrate can bring it under the limit.
- Corrupted or incomplete video uploads fail with a clear error rather than hanging — re-export the video if this happens.
- WAV output preserves the most detail if you plan to edit the extracted audio further.
Why is the video limit higher than the audio tools?
Video files are inherently larger even for a short clip, so a lower limit would make the tool unusable for typical files.
Does this work on screen recordings?
Yes, as long as the format is MP4, AVI, MOV, MKV or WEBM.
Can I extract just part of the audio?
Extract the full track first, then use Cutter to trim it down.
